Advanced Data Models

This unit of study gives a comprehensive overview of post-relational data models and of latest developments in data storage technology. Particular emphasis is put on spatial, temporal, and NoSQL data storage. This unit extensively covers the advanced features of SQL:2003, as well as a few dominant NoSQL storage technologies. Besides in lectures, the advanced topics will be also studied with prescribed readings of database research publications. 本单元全面介绍后关系数据模型和数据存储技术的最新发展。特别强调空间、时间和NoSQL数据存储。本单元广泛地涵盖了SQL:2003的高级特性，以及一些主流的NoSQL存储技术。除了在课堂上，高级主题也将通过指定的数据库研究出版物来学习。
